Allegro Music Academy presents at the Players Theater:

Ilya kaler is the only violinist to win Gold Medals at all three of the world's prestigious violin competitions. He has toured the world extensively, having performed as solist for major orchestras around the globe. Mr. Kaler is a Naxos label recording artist, having recorded the majority of the violin repertoire to critical acclaim. He currently serves as Professor of violin for DePaul University School of Music in Chicago.

Dr. Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler, a former resident of Sarasota, was top-prize winner at the Rodolfo Lipizer International Competition in Italy. She has also toured the world extensively performing as soloist for many major orchestras, and serves as professor of violin at Depaul University School of Music in Chicago.

Daniel Kaler can be best descibed in two words "Rising Star". At 14 years of age, his ambitious repertoire for cello rivals that of the best adult professionals. Daniel has won several nationwide competitions, and has served as solist for many orchestras.

The concert to be held at the Players Theater is a fundraiser concert. Proceeds will benefit music scholarships for Sarasota/Manatee area youth.
