Jazz Club Concert: The Eddie Tobin Quartet

Jazz Club Concert: The Eddie Tobin Quartet
September 21, 2013 5-7pm
$10 for ACS and Jazz Club Members $15 for non-members

Art Center Sarasota and the Jazz Club of Sarasota are proud to present a live concert in the Atrium of ACS, featuring the Eddie Tobin Trio. Eddie lived in Nashville for 15 years and played with the Forester Sisters and Brenda Lee and opened for Kenny Rogers. He spent seven years as pianist, conductor and music director for Engelbert Humperdink. Eddie has performed in such prestigious venues as the London Palladium, the Universal Amphitheatre in LA and the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. Eddie is the pianist for the Venturas, a Sarasota group, who were sensational at the recent Venice Jazz & Blues Festival. He's also played at Sarasota's Ritz Carlton for a number of years. Eddie can do just about anything with a piano, but with a big plus: he sings too. He is a kind of male Diana Krall and one of the Jazz Club's favorites. Eddie is a great entertainer and communicates brilliantly with the audience. Register in advance at ACS or pay at the door.
