Lace Up for the Cure

Sponsored by New Balance Sarasota owners David and Molly Jackson and Walking in Sunshine, a local team of walkers training for and participating in the 3-Day for the Cure Walk, the “Sarasota Lace up for A Cure” event is designed to honor the walkers and encourage community support for these dedicated participants and PINK RIBBON advocates.  Collectively, these local walkers have raised more than $1 million for the local Susan G. Komen Affiliate over the past eight years.   In addition to the Siesta Key long-walk route that includes aid and cheering stations, the community and walkers are invited to join in a post-walk Celebration Lunch catered by Stonewood Grill, from 12-2 pm in the parking lot of New Balance Sarasota on Stickney Point Road.
