Lawrence Summers With Thane Rosenbaum

As economic concerns weigh heavily on Americans’ minds, Lawrence Summers shares his thoughts on the debt and housing crisis, the collapse and bailout of Wall Street, the economic stimulus initiatives, free trade, globalization, anti-Semitism and perhaps even the upcoming presidential election. Summers was director of President Obama’s National Economic Council, Secretary of the Treasury in the Clinton administration, and former president of Harvard University.

Thane Rosenbaum is a novelist and law professor at Fordham University and the director of the Forum on Law, Culture and Society.

TBI’s “Live” programs are broadcast on a huge, 8 ft. by 15 ft. screen in the Temple sanctuary, which provides comfortable, auditorium-style seating for up to 300. The Social Hall expansion of the sanctuary offers an additional 200 seats along with a second screen for close-up viewing. Doors open half an hour before the stimulcast. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Cost is just $5 for non-members and free for TBI members.
