Masterworks: Stern and Schwarz at the Van Wezel

Then cello superstar Julian Schwarz will shine in Saint-Saëns’ lyrically brilliant and frisky Concerto known as tour de force. Conductor Michael Stern’s infectious zeal will intensify the extreme emotions from turmoil to triumph in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.
