Larry Barrett, the proprietor of the Sarasota-based catering company, Simply Gourmet, is presenting the national theatrical premier of “Nick Danger: Third Eye,” a parody of 1940's radio detective shows about hardboiled private detective characters, such as Sam Spade and Phillip Marlowe. The performances will take place February 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and March 1, 7 p.m., at the Powel Crosley Estate, 8374 North Tamiami Trail, in Sarasota.
