Pride Fest 2011 happens this Saturday in J.D. Hamil Park @ Gulfstream and Main across from the Bayfront in downtown Sarasota.
Diversity, The Voices of Sarasota will be opening the event with the ROTC of St. Pete. Karmic Tattoo, Halcyon and Super Hits will fill the day with great music, we have Nancy's BarBQ , Daniel's Wraps to Columbian food offered, Pepsi and Budweiser will be providing the drinks, 65 expo vendors and Suzanne Atwell, Mayor of Sarasota will be delivering the Pride Day Proclamation during Opening Ceremonies at 2:00 pm and then will be sitting in the DUNK TANK from 2:30-3:00. Warm those arms up and put the Mayor in the water.
Ringling School of Art and Design will be offering FREE facepainting for all. You are never too old to be a kid.
