Radio Control Model Airplane Air Fair 2011

The annual Air Fair 2011 will be held on April 16 and 17 at the Sarasota RC Squadron Model Airport.

The event features 80” wing span or larger radio Control airplane that are private, Warbirds and sport aircraft flying from 9 till 3 Sat & Sun. 

 The public is invited to attend the event with plenty of parking with a donation to the Civil Air Patrol.  There is Handicap parking and it is a wheel chair friendly flying field.  Sun shelters are available with ceiling fans.  Bring your own chairs and sunscreen.  Concessions at the Runaway Café include cold soft drinks and grill hamburger and hot dogs.

The field is located 3 miles east on Bee Ridge Road in the Sarasota County Rothenback Park.  Exit #207 off I-75 and go in gate to the right.
