Sarasota Holiday Parade

A true Sarasota holiday tradition that usually generates 4,000 participants and 10,000 and more spectators ushering in the holiday season.

This year's entries include five marching bands, countless children’s performing groups, area nonprofits and local businesses – along with lions, tigers and…horsepower!

This year’s theme is “Tropical Holiday” and many participants will demonstrate how to celebrate, Floribbean style. The event finale is the annual arrival of Santa Claus to Sarasota - who also will be escorted in a true Florida style.
