The Sarasota Sister Cities Association will present its second annual “One World” International Award at an Honors Banquet. This award honors a remarkable Sarasota area organization or individual who has enhanced world understanding and respect through their extraordinary work or volunteer service.
This annual gala is open to the public, and invitations will be sent to all SSCA members, local ethnic groups that sponsor Sarasota’s eight sister cities and the SSCA’s many “alliance members” who assist when visiting delegations or dignitaries seek to explore Sarasota’s profound treasures of the arts and cultures.
Jane Thompson is this year’s Chairperson for the SSCA One World Award.
