GWIZ Hands-On Science Museum presents a "Spiral Style Dance Party" on Saturday, August 20, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring Urban Spiral Dance Company. Educational workshops and demonstrations will explore the science and technique of flow artistry and urban styles of dance, including poi, cheer, step, break-dancing and hoop dance to teach physics, movement theory, interpretive dance and kinetics to people of all ages.
The workshops and demonstrations are free with general admission to the museum ($10, adults over 16; $9, seniors, students and military; $7 children 3-16; children under 3 are free).
