Spring Into Outdoors Fest at Snook Haven

A day of OUTDOOR fun for the Sarasota community featuring raffles, free kids crafts and games, music, Cornhole Tournament, food and more.  The “Spring into Outdoor Fest” will be held March 12, 2011 (rain date March 19) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. @ Snook Haven Park located at 5000 E. Venice Ave. and River Road on the Myakka River.  Proceeds to benefit Friends of Sarasota County Parks dedicated to preserving the future of YOUR parks.  www.FOSCP.org.

News Release: Sarasota, FL.  February 9, 2011.  Get up – Get out!  You need a “breath” of fresh air!  “See and experience” the beauty of one of nature’s treasures! Win great raffle prizes!  Free kids crafts and games!  Dance and listen to the Gumbo Boogie band; learn about your environment; visit with local vendors; try your hand with a Cornhole tournament; eat, drink and be merry; and more!  Join in some “good times” and “fun times” on the idyllic Myakka River with the Friends of Sarasota County Parks “Spring into Outdoors Fest” at Snook Haven Park. You’ll not only have a great time, but you could win fantastic prizes.  

Raffles:  There are only a limited amount of tickets for the main raffle.  300 max. for the $1800 Hobie Kayak.  250 max for an Apple iPad, and 250 max for a ½ day Charter Fishing or sightseeing trip.  Odds to win: VERY GOOD.  Raffle tickets are being presold at four Evie’s Tavern locations.  Where are they! www.eviesonline.com/taverns. Advanced tickets for this limited raffle are now on sale at Snook Haven on the Myakka River (5000 E. Venice Ave., Venice), and will be on sale at the event, if any are left.

Chinese Raffle:  Try your luck at winning playwright tickets, hotel stays, restaurants, attractions, and retail prizes.  Just a “buck” a ticket.
