Begining June 8th for 8 weeks, The Sarasota Waldorf School's Sunflower Garden Nursery Summer Program, will offer a program for children ages 2 1/2 to 3 ½. It is designed as a transition for the young child from the home environment or a program where the parent is present, to a class where the child will be able to explore on their own, with the guidance of a fully trained Waldorf teacher and assistant.
Stories, finger games, nursery rhymes and a circle time are some of the activities that we offer, along with a wholesome snack. There will be outdoor play in our lovely Early Childhood play garden. The class will provide an atmosphere where positive and joyful interactions are encouraged.

About the Sarasota Waldorf School: Part of a worldwide association of independent Waldorf schools, the Sarasota Waldorf School is a private school, located in Sarasota Florida. It offers Nursery, Kindergarten, Grades 1-5 and Parent Child Circles as well as Adult Education programs. The students are nurtured through a supportive structured and non-competitive environment, using a time-tested Waldorf curriculum. "We chose Waldorf education because it educates the whole child – meaning the heart as well as the mind. Through a gentle, natural process that enables the true spirit and beauty of the child to shine through." says a Sarasota Waldorf School parent.
