The Sarasota Folk & Acoustic Music Festival this year will be the 9th folk festival sponsored by the Sarasota Folk Club. There will be statewide musicians, delicious food, many fine vendors selling excellent products, workshops, jams, family music & fun for kids!
The festival includes many types of music. While it is primarily centered around traditional folk and acoustic music and singer/songwriter performers, you will also hear bluegrass, old-time, blues, country, jazz, pop and Irish.
As many as 30 musical acts perform on three stages, and there are workshop areas where you may get some pointers on playing an instrument, singing harmony, or writing songs.

The music starts at 11 am both days. On Saturday, there is a dinner break at 5 pm - 6 pm, the evening concert starts at 6pm, and ends at 10 pm. Sunday: The festival starts at 11 am, and ends at 4 pm.
There is limited lighting Saturday night, so bring a flashlight. There are folding chairs in front of each stage, but you are welcome to bring your own chair.
