The SFF is committed to putting the accomplishments of women in the film industry in the spotlight so we’re proud to partner with the Gulf Coast Chapter of U.N. Women to host this fundraising reception benefiting their organization.
The filmmakers from our Through Women’s Eyes program attend to discuss their films and inspire the next generation of artists.
Established by the United Nations in 1976, U.N. Women leads, supports and coordinates work on gender equality and the empowerment of women at global, regional and country levels.
The Gulf Coast Chapter was established in 1993 and is lead by volunteers who educate the Florida community about the situation of women in developing countries and raise funds for U.N. Women projects and programs world-wide.
