Something to Really Bite Into
Feel like something crunch and satisfying, then head over to the Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar for their snapper fish tacos. Served in a blue tortilla shell, the snapper is batter-fried and topped with avocado, feta and a wasabi cream. They are served with seasoned rice. This is a very filling meal that you will want to come back for. Try pairing it with their Bacon Bloody Mary. It is a salty and spicy creation that will rev up those taste buds.
“Dessert”ed Island
If you have not tried the Pina Colada Cake at Tommy Bahamas, then you are missing out on a flavor vacation. I didn’t want this dessert to end, it is that good. Made up of vanilla cake, Myers Dark Rum, diced pineapple, white chocolate mousse sprinkled with toasted Coconut, this cake is the perfect combination of rich flavors and light textures. Take in a deep breath before inhaling this gorgeous and delicious dessert, the smell alone will put a smile on your face. One of Tommy’s espressos would pair wonderfully with a slice of this cake.

Feeling Shellfish?
A good plate of oysters is hard to find, but at Anna Maria Oyster Bar, just ask for the Grandma Georgie’s Chipotle Grilled Oysters and you won’t be disappointed. Named after the owner, John Horne’s grandmother’s, these oysters are grilled and topped with garlic butter, chipotle seasoning and shredded parmesan cheese. Be careful, as they are highly addictive and delicious. Ask for some bread to sop up all that buttery goodness. My suggestion is to pair this with a Cigar City Jai Ali or one of their award-winning Margaritas.
