Five Easy Ways to Pay Your Property Tax Bills

Paying your taxes has never been this easy. Sarasota County property taxpayers can now pay by phone, dropbox, U.S. post, online—and even at a drive-up window.

The county also is reminding property owners that if they pay by Nov. 30, which is Wednesday, they get a 4 percent discount on their bills.

Here are details on the ways to pay:

1. Just go online to www.SarasotaTaxCollector.com;
2. Call 877-729-2001 to pay by phone;
3. Use drop boxes at each of the offices of the Tax Collector, 24 hours a day.  In North Port, a drop box is also available during business hours at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 13640 Tamiami Trail (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed noon to 1 p.m.).

5. Drive-up service is available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the following locations: 

• Sarasota County Tax Collector Downtown Sarasota, Terrace Building, 101 S. Washington Boulevard;
• South Sarasota, 8484 S. Tamiami Trail;
• Venice, Anderson Administration Center, 4000 S. Tamiami Trail.
