FL Girl Crowned Miss Teen Universe 2022

VENICE, FL — A 17-year-old from Venice was crowned Miss Teen Universe for 2022 at the May 5 competition in Nicaragua.

To bring home the title, Morgan Claycomb beat out 29 other contestants, according to PageantCircle.com.

“What an unbelievably journey! I have a list of thank yous coming that is about 10 miles long because so many of you wear this crown with me, but for right now, I just want to say how grateful and honored I am to have received so much love and support from not only back home but from around the globe and I’m humbled to be your queen,” she wrote on her Instagram page.

The Miss Teen Universe organization called Claycomb “the ultimate representative of teenage beauty in the universe” when announcing on its Instagram page that she won this year’s competition.

On its Facebook page, PageantSmart, a pageant interview consulting company, congratulated her on her win.

“She proudly represented the USA and left a lasting impact on the judges, contestants and audience. Letting her heart lead, she was in the moment when delivering her final thoughts before a winner was selected,” the company wrote. “I can’t believe our paths crossed 6 years when you were a preteen and here you are Teen Queen of the Universe! I am so proud of the young woman you have become and thank you for always trusting me with your preparation throughout the years.”

On Claycomb’s journey to becoming the Miss Teen Universe 2022, she was crowned Miss Teen Universe Florida and Miss Teen Universe USA last year.

A model, she’s also the founder of Dollars and Sense-Financial Literacy for Kids.
