Florida's 'Drunkest' Cities Revealed
Bradenton and Sarasota made RoadSnacks' top 10 list.

Two Tampa Bay area cities rank among Florida’s Top 10 “drunkest places,” according to a recent report released by RoadSnacks.
The website dedicated to showing people “the real side of places that not everyone wants to hear,” recently sat down and crunched numbers related to partying in places throughout the Sunshine State. To arrive at its findings, RoadSnacks used data related to the number of bars, pubs, wineries and liquor stores per capita. It also delved into social media to uncover the number of drunk-related tweets sent from geographic locations within the past week. Divorce rates were also taken into account.
For the social media aspect, writers looked at the raw number of tweets originating from a “city’s general area.” The tweets flagged for use includes those with the hastags “Drunk,” “Party,” “Beer” and “Wine.”
