Fundraiser Set for Child Injured in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
A Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics coach died in the Tuesday wreck in Sarasota.

Friends and family of an 11-year-old girl who survived a motorcycle crash Tuesday that claimed the life of her mother’s boyfriend are hoping the community will rally to her side.
“Angels for Anniston” has been formed on Crowdwise.com in an effort to earn $10,000 to offset Anniston Jasch’s medical bills.
Anniston and Richard Schoeneck, 27, were riding on Clark Road near Interstate 75 in Sarasota when a car violated the motorcycle’s right of way, causing the crash, WTSP reported. Schoeneck, a coach at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics, died at the scene. Anniston was airlifted to All Children’s Hospital.

The girl suffered a broken leg, broken ankle and has a back injury, as well, according to the Crowdrise page.
“Anniston is out of surgery now, awake and alert,” her mother, Kimberly, is quoted on the page as saying. “Her left femur was broken so badly she needed pins surgically placed to hold her leg together. Her right leg was cut pretty bad and needed to be surgically sewn back together.”

As of the page’s creation, Kimberly hadn’t yet told Anniston about Richard’s death.
