Fundraiser For Ukraine Planned In Sarasota’s Rosemary Art & Design District On Saturday

SARASOTA, FL — A fundraiser, supply drive and block party in support of Ukraine will take place in Sarasota’s Rosemary Art & Design District Saturday night.

The free outdoor event, presented by DreamLarge and its partners, runs from 6 to 11 p.m. and features two stages with local bands performing. Artists on the line-up include the Lesa Silvermore Band, Me Umbra and Physical Plant, as well as DJ’s NatiPitch, RusDEEP, DJ Solo and more, according to a news release.

Lesa Silvermore, a Sarasota native, plays acoustic rock and roll, while Me Umbra is a pop and R&B act. Physical Plant, founded at New College of Florida, brings high-energy psych-funk/garage-prog to the lineup.

On the Studio Stage, DJ Rus Deep, a resident performer at Selva Grill known for his blend of nu soul, disco, Afro house and deep house, and DJ Natipitch, a widely known music industry veteran throughout the last decade, will perform.

RADD for Ukraine was organized to provide an opportunity for the Sarasota community to give their support to those in Ukraine.

Attendees are encouraged to make donations and bring supplies to aid in the support of the humanitarian and emergency response work in Ukraine and its neighboring nations. DreamLarge will absorb all fees related to the event to ensure that 100 percent of every dollar contributed will go to support those in Ukraine.
