TAMPA BAY, FL — Looking for something fun to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? There’s something for every interest — Gasparilla Distance Classic, Ybor City Fiesta Day, Osfest Reggae Block Party and Junior League of Sarasota’s Tour of Homes.

Cirque Ma'Ceo

Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic

The Gasparilla Distance Classic offers various races — a 15K, a 5K, an 8K and a half marathon — Saturday and Sunday in Tampa. The annual event also offers a health and fitness expo.

Junior League Of Sarasota's 46th Annual Tour Of Homes

The 46th Annual Simply Sarasota Tour of Homes, presented by Charlotte's Grace, will take place on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Over two days, attendees will have the opportunity to take an intimate look inside six of Sarasota's most beautiful and exclusive homes, ranging in style from oceanfront coastal cottage, to custom mid-century, modern and contemporary farmhouse, all located in some of the most exclusive and desirable neighborhoods. Self-guided tours of the homes or guided tours with a Junior League hostess will be available. This year, homes are located on Siesta Key, Indian Beach/Sapphire Shores and West of the Trail.

Art & Seafood on the Waterfront

This signature event from the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce runs Saturday and Sunday. The festival features the area’s best seafood, more than 50 national artists, entertainment, music and art activities.

Eckerd College Environmental Film Festival

The “Visions of Nature/Voices of Natures” Environmental Film Festival at St. Petersburg’s Eckerd College kicked off Thursday and runs Friday and Saturday, and Feb. 28-March 4. All films are free and open to the public. Find a full schedule here.

Ybor City Fiesta Day

This free annual event, taking place Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., along 7th Avenue, celebrates the history and culture of the Ybor City District. The event offers food, arts, crafts and live entertainment.

Gulfport's Get Rescued

Once again, Gulfport goes to the dogs, kitties, skunks and other feathered and furry friends on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This animal rescue and fundraiser along Beach Boulevard hosts up to 50 animal rescue groups, and pet-friendly vendors featuring animal-related products, crafts, artwork and other curious treats. Additional activities include pet care education, a pet food and supplies drive, animal training demos and the Florida Weiner Dog Derby.

Blue Jean Ball

Hope Villages of America, a nonprofit addressing homelessness, hunger and abuse, hosts its annual Blue Jean Ball fundraiser Saturday at Cove Cay Golf Club in Clearwater.

Osfest Reggae Block Party

This annual Reggae Block Party takes place Saturday evening on Main Street in downtown Sarasota outside the Gator Club benefits the Queens of Domestic Violence Awareness.

Musical Flea Market

The Sarasota Music Archive hosts its Musical Flea Market on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Selby Library. Thousands of CDs and vinyl records, as well as stereo equipment — including a 1924 Victrola — musical instruments, sheet music, and other items will be available for sale.
