Labor Day Regatta
The Sarasota Sailing Squadron hosts its 75th annual Labor Day Regatta, Friday through Sunday. This signature event draws hundreds of competitive sailors of all ages from across the U.S. and Canada. The schedule includes a Friday night welcome party, five separate race courses, a Saturday dinner and a Sunday awards ceremony.

P1 Offshore St. Pete Grand Prix
The 2023 St. Pete Powerboat Grand Prix will take place in downtown St. Petersburg Friday through Sunday. Powerboat and personal watercraft race teams from across the U.S. will compete across multiple classes of racing over the weekend.

Enjoy three days, Friday through Sunday, of celebrity meet-and-greets, unique vendors and artists, cosplayers, panels, music, and more at Fanboy Expo at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Rod Wave Concert
St. Petersburg native rapper Rod Wave performs at Amalie Arena in Tampa Friday night. He rose to fame in 2019 when his single “Heart on Ice” went viral on YouTube and TikTok and peaked at No. 25 on the “Billboard Hot 100.”
Downtown Venice Labor Day Weekend Craft Festival
Craft artists across various mediums will take over downtown Venice when they set up along Miami Avenue Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for the 14th annual Labor Day Weekend Craft Festival.
GeckoFest
Celebrate the end of summer and Gulfport’s unofficial mascot and favorite reptile, the gecko, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., along Beach Boulevard. Festival-goers are encouraged to wear costumes.

Moon Drop Yoga Studios in Tampa hosts a morning of prenatal yoga, refreshments and local prenatal professionals for a full self-care experience for mothers-to-be on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Labor Day Weekend Block Party
Caddy’s Bradenton hosts its Labor Day Weekend Block Party Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with live music all day, a water slide, a dunk tank, face painting, a water blaster battle and a cornhole tournament with prizes. Enjoy food and drink specials all weekend long, Friday through Monday.
Jazz & Caribbean Vendor Fest
The Saturday Shoppes in St. Petersburg hosts a Jazz & Caribbean Vendor Fest Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., in the Tropicana Field parking lot.
