Girl Scouts to Offer Free Sports, Health, and Wellness Expo

Free event open to all girls in grades 2 - 8

Englewood, FL – Girls in grades two through eight and their families are invited to a free Sports, Health, and Wellness Expo hosted by Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida on Saturday, January 20, from 2 – 5 p.m.

The event will take place at SKY Academy, 881 S. River Road in Englewood. Participants will enjoy an afternoon of mini-clinics, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and giveaways, led by local experts.

Participating organizations include SKY Academy, Charlotte Stone Crabs, Englewood Community Hospital, Dance with Janice, Kona Ice, Lemon Bay Yoga Studio, Restorative Medical Center, Rhonda’s Retreat Fitness, Revolutionary Martial Arts, and i9 Sports, and Macaroni Kid. Girl Scouts staff will be on hand to talk about Girl Scout programs, including athletic and healthy living badges, and membership information.
