Grant supports area families with essential household items during holiday financial literacy fair

Indelible Management Solutions, Inc. and Indelible Impacts, Inc. grant of $25,000 to Safe Children Coalition benefits client families

A grant of $25,000 from Indelible Management Solutions, Inc. and Indelible Impacts, Inc. to Safe Children Coalition (SCC) benefited area families through the holiday season and into the New Year. The funds not only helped families involved in four SCC programs to receive essential household items, the company also supported expanded activities for SCC’s Financial Literacy Fair, presented by SCC’s HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) program in December.

The four SCC programs through which families could request needed household items were the Achievers teen leadership program, HIPPY, foster care, and Schoolhouse Link, which protects, serves and advocates for students who are homeless or unaccompanied. The family needs provided to participating households included essentials such as mattresses and bedding, linens, bathroom and cleaning supplies; clothing and personal items; home furnishings and furniture; small to medium appliances, technology and educational items; household goods and kitchen items; and youth and family support items, such as cribs, strollers, car seats, and diapers and wipes.

In addition to the grant support, the company provided food, volunteers, arts and crafts activities, a disc jockey, and other items and personnel to make it a grand affair. More than 20 employees from around the country participated in the event. Additionally, companies such as BMO Harris Bank and Bay First attended as well.

The HIPPY Financial Literacy Fair and Indelible Holiday Event drew over 500 children and families, who were gifted with the items from their family wish list, received information on financial wellness and community resources, participated in activities for children, and shared a delicious meal with the Indelible team and local supporters.

"We are thankful for our vendors, our volunteers and our partners, and especially grateful to Safe Children Coalition and the other organizations that helped bring Joyful Holiday Wishes to life!" said Mikhail A. Scott, the Director of Outreach for Indelible Solutions.

“Thanks in great part to the support and generosity of Indelible Management Solutions and Indelible Impacts, families engaged with Safe Children Coalition programs not only enjoyed some holiday fun and received valuable information about community resources, they were also gifted important household items that they might otherwise not have been able to purchase on their own,” added HIPPY program director Jone Williams. “We are so grateful for this heartfelt community support and collaboration, which helps us to protect children and strengthen families.”
