Growing Pot Was a Family Affair for 3 Sarasota Men, Cops Say
A father and his two sons were arrested Wednesday after a two-county investigation turned up 4 pounds of marijuana and 225 plants.

Three Sarasota men are behind bars following an investigation into illegal drug activity conducted by the sheriff’s offices in both Sarasota and Manatee counties.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says a 58-year-old man and his two adult sons sold undercover detectives hundreds of dollars’ worth of pot on several occasions. When detectives executed a search warrant at 4456 Flatbush Ave. in Sarasota, they found more than 4 pounds of marijuana in the home. The two sons were arrested at the conclusion of the search.
Manatee County detectives served a search warrant on a warehouse at 2650 Whitfield Ave. in Sarasota where they found an extensive indoor growing operation. Inside the warehouse, detectives found more than 225 marijuana plants, an email to media from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office states. The father was arrested at the warehouse.

Peter Glunk, 58, now faces multiple sale of cannabis charges, as do his sons, Jacob Glunk, 28, and Austin, 33.
