Halloween Events 2022: Wild-O-Ween, Trick-Or-Treating, Pumpkin Patches

Looking for some spooky fun in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas? Check out these trick-or-treating and other Halloween events.

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FL — With Halloween around the corner, here’s some spooky fun planned in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Wild-O-Ween

When: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Big Cat Habitat, 7101 Palmer Blvd., Sarasota

Admission: $25 for an adult day pass, $10 per child

Trick-or-treat throughout the Big Cat Habitat. Other activities including pony rides, face painting, big cat and bear feedings, pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, costume contest, and mummy wrapping.


Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

When: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: 5500 C.R. 675, Bradenton

Admission: $15 per person and $5 to park. Children 10 and younger are free.

The festival includes a pumpkin patch, craft show, live music and shows, hayrides, pony rides, a corn maze, a pioneer trades village, a petting zoo and more.


Fruitville Grove

When: Saturday and Sunday

Where: 7410 Fruitville Road, Sarasota

Features a pumpkin patch and other fall activities.


Pumpkin Patch Express

When: Saturday and Sunday

Where: Florida Railroad Museum, 12210 83rd Street, East Parrish

Admission: Tickets start at $22.50 for adults and $17.25 for children. First-class, excursion and group seating is also available.

This popular trip from the Florida Railroad Museum takes you to a patch of pumpkins. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in the hayride. Lincoln log building, crafts and other activities offered at no additional charge.


Main Street Live Halloween Fall Fest

When: Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m.

Where: Old Main Street, Bradenton

Featuring face painting, hay maze and music by The Black Honkeys.


Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Halloween Drive-Thru

When: Saturday, 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: 6010 Cattlemen Blvd., Sarasota

Admission: Free

Enjoy spooky static displays and a candy giveaway.


Boo! at The Bishop

When: Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m.

Where: The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, 201 10th Street W., Bradenton

Admission: $7 each, children under 4 free

Bring a bag for trick-or-treating! Costumes are encouraged.


Selby Spooktacular

When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Selby Gardens, downtown Sarasota campus, 1534 Mound Street

Admission: Free for Selby Gardens’ members and included with general admission tickets

Activities include trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, educational programming, an inflatable corn maze, and storytelling.


Fright Night on St. Armands Circle

When: Monday, 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: St. Armands Circle, Sarasota

Admission: Free

Adults and children can trick-or-treat throughout the Circle. Many retailers have special promotions and Halloween displays.
