State Farm awards $10,000 grant to Habitat South Sarasota
Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County is pleased to express heartfelt gratitude to State Farm for their generous grant of $10,000 to support their mission of providing safe, affordable homes to hardworking local families.
“With community support, we can continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of those seeking a secure and stable home.” said Christina McCauley, CEO of Habitat for Humanity SSC. “State Farm support reinforces the importance of collaboration between businesses and nonprofit organizations in addressing critical community needs.”
State Farm commitment to community development aligns seamlessly with Habitat’s vision for a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The donation will directly contribute to funding the construction of homes, providing deserving families with a safe and affordable place to call their own.

“I am so blessed to be a part of the Habitat family and become a homeowner! As a single mother, working full-time and still not being able to provide a home for my son has been a big struggle. To be able to give my son a place of his own and establish our roots here where I grew up means so much to me.” Jamie expressed.
Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County, Inc. operates as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat SSC has made great strides towards its mission to build safe, affordable housing for those in need in south Sarasota County. Without the help of charitable sponsors, like State Farm, Habitat SSC could not accomplish their goal of providing safe, affordable, energy efficient homes.
