Ian Black Real Estate launches Corporate Realty Services

Cameron Wilson, CCIM, will serve as Director of Corporate Realty

Ian Black Real Estate, Sarasota’s premier commercial real estate services firm, is expanding its capabilities with the hire of Cameron Wilson, CCIM, as Director of Corporate Realty. Wilson will spearhead the firm’s Corporate Realty division and focus on providing small- to medium-sized business owners with a full suite of commercial real estate solutions.

Ian Black’s Corporate Realty service will provide business owners with a comprehensive solution for their commercial real estate needs, including:

  • Portfolio administration, such as a review of current real estate, lease renewals, rent reviews and landlord and tenant management.
  • Long-term planning, to include site selection and zoning reviews, acqusitions and dispositions and property management.
  • Short-term planning, to include seller and landlord interviews, project sales and leadership, and tenant and landlord representation.

“In the past, our local market has addressed commercial real estate needs on an ad hoc basis,” said Ian Black, partner at Ian Black Real Estate. “A business needs space and they find a broker who will address that need individually. It’s more of a reaction to the market than a thoughtful plan of action. We’re thrilled to offer a more proactive approach and have Cameron leading the way.”

Wilson has more than 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and recently relocated to Sarasota from Seattle, Wash. His experience includes serving as the Managing Broker and Business Development Director for Bradley Scott Commercial Real Estate and the Managing Broker and Property Manager for The Rants Group. He also served as a Commercial Agent and Property Manager for Millenium Commercial Real Estate for more than 14 years.

He will retain his commercial real estate license in Washington and serve as a bi-coastal broker serving clients in both Sarasota and Manatee counties, as well as the greater Seattle area.

“Markets like Sarasota need firms like Ian Black that leverage a deep well of experience with extensive, data-driven knowledge of the local market,” said Wilson. “As the Director of Corporate Realty, I’m looking forward to creating value for our clients by helping them navigate changing market conditions in a way that will set their businesses up for long-term success.”

The Sarasota-based firm also recently hired Holly Fullerton as broker associate. Fullerton has more than 11 years of experience in high-volume real estate transactions. She most recently served as a real estate broker associate and commercial and investment advisor for eXp Realty. She is also a successful entrepreneur with a small investment business.

Fullerton is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Alliance (CREA) and the Florida Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) chapter and is actively working toward her CCIM designation. She is also actively involved in volunteering locally and with Compassion International.

“We’re delighted that both Cameron and Holly have chosen our firm to pursue their professional goals,” said Black. “They’re both experienced brokers and we’re happy to have them on the team. It’s also encouraging to see that Sarasota is on the map for people like Cameron who are relocating from other parts of the country.”
