JFCS Receives Generous Artwork Donation from Soicher Marin
JFCS receives a very generous donation of more than 25 pieces of artwork from Soicher Marin for its Gloria & Louis Flanzer Campus.
The newly renovated Ringling Boulevard campus offers caregiver support groups, programs for the developmentally disabled, outreach and activities for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia related diseases, and counseling services. The artwork helps create a warm and inviting environment for the JFCS staff and those they serve.
A significant portion of the donated artwork comes from the artist, Isabelle de Borchgrave. A Belgian artist whose name has become one that is readily associated with fashion and paper, though her name is also closely linked to the world of design. By working together with Caspari, the potteries of Gien, Target, Villeroy, and Boch, Isabelle has turned her imagination into an art that’s accessible to anyone who wants to bring festivity into their home.
“We are happy to align ourselves with the JFCS as it seems as though we are working toward a similar goal; the growth and wellness of people in our local community,” stated Ed Marin, president & CEO of Soicher Marin.
