July 4 House Fire In Sarasota Likely Caused By Fireworks, Sheriff Says
There were no injuries in a Monday night house fire on Ashley Parkway, according to reports.
SARASOTA, FL — An overnight house fire was likely caused by July fireworks, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office told WTSP.
The fire broke out Monday night just after 10 p.m. on Ashley Parkway, not far from Ashley Court. Firefighter crews battled the blaze into the early Tuesday morning hours, according to ABC Action News.
Ashley Parkway was closed for several hours, reopening at 4 a.m.

Everyone who lived at the home was safe in the fire, which remains under investigation, Tampa Free Press reported.
