Learn How To Create A Neighborhood Watch In Sarasota County

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office will host a webinar on how to create a Neighborhood Watch program Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m., according to the Facebook event page.

As part of the agency’s commitment to public education, SCSO’s Crime Prevention Unit will present the one-hour virtual program. The presentation will provide information and insight into the importance of establishing Neighborhood Watch programs. Topics of discussion will include how to organize your own Neighborhood Watch program, how to best secure your property and how to collaborate effectively with law enforcement.

This safety seminar will be presented online using Zoom. It’s free to attend but limited to 100 participants. Attendees must RSVP by email to CrimePrevention@Sarasotasheriff.org to receive an invitation with Zoom link and instructions.
