LWRCF to Benefit from Lakewood Ranch Music on Main Event in May

The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation (LWRCF) is pleased to be the featured nonprofit during the May 2 Lakewood Ranch Music on Main event, held on Main Street, Lakewood Ranch, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. LWRCF board and staff will be managing the beer trucks and the foundation will benefit from the proceeds of beer sales, helping to reach the $250,000 fundraising goal for its 25th anniversary celebration.

Lakewood Ranch Florida hosts its free concert series and block party, Music on Main, the first Friday of every month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. On May 2, Bluestar will fill the air with the sounds of authentic blues and the street will be lined with food vendors, beer trucks, and games and activities for kids. LWRCF’s tent will feature its 25th anniversary celebration turtle mascot and turtle-naming contest.

Founded in 2000, LWRCF’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in our communities by responding to needs, granting funds, and building lasting relationships. Over the past 25 years, LWRCF has awarded more than $1.53 million to 140 nonprofits doing impactful work in Lakewood Ranch.
