Mama, Baby Gators Spotted Sunbathing Near Sarasota Golf Course: Watch
Check out this video of a mother and her baby gators sunbathing along the edge of Bobby Jones Golf Club in Sarasota.

SARASOTA, FL – A mama and her baby gators were spotted sunbathing Wednesday night along the edge of Bobby Jones Golf Club.
Sarasota’s senior communications manager, Jan Thornburg, shared a short video of the gator family on the city’s Facebook page. (Watch the video below.)
The golf club is temporarily closed for renovation. The Sarasota City Council decided in January 2022 to restore Bobby Jones and the 300 acres it sits on as green space in a conservation easement.

The renovated property will include the renovated 18-hole golf course, originally designed by renowned golf architect Donald Ross, and a new 9-hole short course, as well as miles of walking and biking paths through the natural landscape, according to the Bobby Jones website.

More than 100 acres will also be preserved as a nature park.
