SARASOTA, FL — A Sarasota man faces multiple charges after giving LSD to an 11-year-old girl, authorities said.

Through digital evidence, detectives found conversations between Derylak and the child, learning that he drove to the 11-year-old’s neighborhood and gave her marijuana edibles and seven tabs of LSD.

When he was taken into custody Wednesday and during a search of his apartment, investigators found more drugs, including 163 prescription pills, LSD, marijuana, 125 grams of mushrooms, THC edibles and cartridges, and butane hash oil, as well as drug sales paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office said. The items are being tested in the agency’s drug laboratory and the results may lead to additional charges.
