Man Thrown From Motorcycle Dies In Sarasota County: FL Highway Patrol
A 21-year-old Sarasota man died after being thrown from his motorcycle on State Road 72 Thursday, Florida Highway Patrol said.
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — A 21-year-old Sarasota man died after being thrown from his motorcycle on State Road 72 Thursday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
He lost control and was separated from his motorcycle just east of Myakka Valley Trail around 12:30 p.m.
His vehicle traveled off the road, stopping in the grass shoulder ditch, FHP said.

The driver landed on the S.R. 72 travel lanes. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
