Military Academy Teacher ‘Made Out’ With Student: Sarasota Police
A female teacher at Sarasota Military Academy was charged with a felony after she "made out" with a 17-year-old male student, police said.

SARASOTA, FL — A Sarasota Military Academy High School faces charges after “making out” with a 17-year-old male student, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.
Michele Little, 29, of Sarasota was arrested Friday and charged with indecent, lewd or lascivious touching of certain minors, a felony.
The school first contacted police Tuesday about rumors involving the victim and Little.

After officers came to the school to interview Little that day, she was placed on administrative leave by the school, police said.
When the student was interviewed Thursday at the Child Protection Center, he said that Little “was flirting with him and he was intrigued by it and went along with it” for a couple of weeks, according to her probable cause affidavit.

Little, who wasn’t his teacher for any class “would flirt with him by looking him up and down” and called him “dangerous,” because he is a minor, and “hot,” according to the affidavit. She also told him that she could “show him a couple of things,” which he interpreted as Little “sexually putting herself out there to him.”
The teen went to Little’s classroom during lunch on April 17, and she put a sign that read “testing/tutoring” on the door while he was in there so no one else would enter the room.
After he asked Little what she was doing after school that day, she said that she was cleaning her room. When he asked, “in a kidding fashion,” if she needed help, she told him “that she would like help,” police said.
The student returned to the classroom after school, and Little had the door propped open with a pencil so it wouldn’t lock and he could enter, police said. When he entered the classroom, Little closed the blinds on the door and the student logged on to a computer so he could pretend he was working if someone walked in.
The teen told police that he and Little “made out for 10 to 15 minutes” before he left the room.
“The High School administration was made aware of an alleged incident that happened between a staff member and student that is being investigated by the Sarasota Police Department,” Sarasota Military Academy High School said in a statement provided to police. “We have come to learn that an arrest was made by the Sarasota Police Department, and any updates regarding this case will be released by the SPD.”
