Missing Woman Sought In Sarasota: Police

SARASOTA, FL — The Sarasota Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing woman last seen Saturday morning.

Heather Ellis, 45, of Sarasota was last seen around 10:30 a.m. near the 2500 block of 10th Street in Sarasota, police said.

She stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Ellis left the area of 10th Street on foot, but it’s unknown whether she is traveling by vehicle or still by foot, police said.
