Most Expensive Sarasota Condo Sale Closes For $11.15M: Reports

SARASOTA, FL — The penthouse at Epoch in downtown Sarasota sold for $11.15 million, according to multiple reports.

This makes it the most expensive condominium ever sold in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Tampa Bay Business Journal said.

The four-bedroom penthouse takes up the top two floors of the building at 605 S. Gulfstream Ave., which was built in 2021, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

The unit boasts a minimalist contemporary design, including open layout, recessed lighting, discreet ventilation, neutral tones, and an incredible brise-soleil that canopies both penthouse terraces, echoes the famed midcentury style of the Sarasota School of Architecture, Patch previously reported.

It also has ceilings extending to 14 feet high, floor-to-ceiling glass and extraordinary views.

“I can see Anna Maria, Longboat, Lido, Bird Key, Siesta, the Ringling Bridge, manatees, dolphins, the marina, the city, the Gulf of Mexico and, on a clear day, the Skyway Bridge,” Seller Alan Town told Sarasota Magazine. “It’s the tallest residence in Sarasota, so we look down on everybody, and no one can look into our unit.”
