Motorcyclist Dies After Bee Ridge Crash: FHP
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The FHP says another driver turned left in front of him.
BEE RIDGE, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol says a 21-year-old Sarasota man has died after a crash in Bee Ridge on Monday afternoon.
According to a report, the driver of a pickup truck was driving east on Bee Ridge Road, approaching Radnor Place, around 2:20 p.m. Monday.
The pickup truck driver turned left in front of a motorcyclist who was driving west. The motorcycle hit the side of the pickup truck.

First responders transported the motorcyclist to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was pronounced dead on Tuesday.

The other driver, a 57-year-old man from Sarasota, was not injured.
The crash is under investigation.
