O’Donoghue Dermatology Celebrates 10th Anniversary

From Concept Digital Media: This August 20 will mark 10 years since O’Donoghue Dermatology, one of the area’s leading medical and cosmetic dermatology practices, opened the doors of its state-of the-art facility at 1952 Field Road in Sarasota.

Dr. J. Morgan O’Donoghue, Medical Director of O’Donoghue Dermatology, has been in private practice for 17 years, but his desire to provide the most advanced treatment options available led him to break out on his own in 2007. Since then, O’Donoghue Dermatology has more than doubled in size with a physical expansion in 2013 and the addition of several medical and support personnel.

The 2013 remodel added a phototherapy room for the treatment of various chronic skin disorders, 2 new patient rooms, and an expanded reception area with all the equipment needed to host educational seminars and lectures. This August, O’Donoghue Dermatology will be adding a separate waiting room for patients undergoing Mohs surgery, a dedicated laser room, and an aesthetician suite.

In addition to these physical expansions, the practice, which started out with just one Physician Assistant and a receptionist, now employs 7 staff members and 2 Physician Assistants, and they are in the process of hiring a third PA. “It’s such a joy to see how the practice continues to grow and how many of the patients who have been here since the beginning are still with us today” said Dr. O’Donoghue.
