- , 5251 Ocean Boulevard: Located on Siesta Key. This coffee shop offers a surfer's atmosphere inside and great views of the Siesta Key Village Outside. Try out the cocoanut mocha.
- , 1512 Main St. Like many great coffee shops in Sarasota, Pastry Art has indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee. The pastries, made daily, go great with an early morning coffee. Pastry Art also has open mic night on Wednesdays.
- , 2805 N Tamiami Trl: Great place for nearby college to study, write and get a cheap drink. Nothing on the menu is more than $5 and its location makes it a great spot.
- , 4615 S Tamiami Trl and Saturdays at the Farmers Market: While the shop on Tamiami is a great place to get a cup of Jo, Java Dawg is more famous for its two-story bus you will see every weekend at the downtown Farmers Market. There, you can grab a mocha and head up to the second story of the bus to enjoy the view and a drink.
- , 1341 Main Street: One of the newer coffee shops in Sarasota, Media on Main offers a full menu and one-of-a-kind outdoor seating with a view of Palm Avenue. The shop is also one of the only places in down where you can shop for your favorite Apple products. It also has various magazines and newspapers on its newsstands.
