Best Places to Grab a Slice of Pizza in Sarasota

, 215 Avenida Madera - On Siesta Key there is a great place to chill out and grab a slice of piece after hitting the beach all day.  These proud New Jersey transplants serve authentic Italian dishes, delicious pizza and gelato.

,  1429 Main St  - A downtown staple for more than 25 years, Patellini's is a great place to stop a grab a slice at lunch, for dinner or late at night on a Friday after the bars close. When there are big events or festivals downtown they will bring a portable stand.

, 8383 S Tamiami Trl - Offering the most popular American pizzas like pepperoni and Hawaiian, they also produce authentic Italian Margherita Fresca, Florentina and Mediterranean, as well as an original California style Pacifico with pineapple, raisins and Canadian bacon. A great location in south Sarasota to grab a slice. 

, 1703 Main St. - If you are on the east side of Main Street and hungry for a slice of pizza, try IL Panificio. Located next to the Sarasota Herald Tribune, this pizza joint has a great selection of fresh pizzas along with hot subs, calzones and Italian desserts and pastries. There is also a south location at 2215 Gulf Gate Dr. 

, 1001 10th St - One of Sarasota's oldest restaurants also has some of Sarasota's best pizza. While they serve a menu full of various items, after all these years, pizza remains the specialty.
