SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Firefighters rescued a person stuck in a tree Tuesday afternoon, Sarasota County Emergency Services shared on Facebook.

The fire rescue crew from the Sarasota County Fire Department was called to the 5600 block of Boulder Boulevard around 2:45 p.m.

There, they found a person in a tree about 25 feet off the ground, SCES said.

The department’s special operations team used a ground ladder to reach the person and bring them down to safety.

They were evaluated at the scene and no injuries were reported.
