Plein Air Painting with Joseph Melancon!

If you have never painted outdoors this is your opportunity. Plein air painting provides a fresh and different way of looking at how we process what we “see.” It is gaining enormous popularity in the USA and is a great supplement to painting in the studio. The first lesson will be at the Art Center with a brief demonstration, checkout of equipment and supplies, followed by each student painting a trial run landscape on the Art Center grounds. Subsequent sessions will be outdoor locations near the Art Center. All media are welcome. Students will need to supply a small portable easel with a limited palette.
