Venice’s premier fall art festival returns November 1st and 2nd with the finest artists in the country. This first class outdoor art gallery style event will showcase original handmade art in a myriad of media and styles. This is the perfect setting for holiday shoppers eager to kick off the season and get a jump-start on their holiday shopping. Festival patrons can choose from a wide variety of unique gift items while exploring the eclectic displays of artwork and avoiding the hectic and crowded malls. The festival benefits Venice MainStreet, dedicated to preserving and maintaining downtown Venice as a desirable destination. Admission is free and open to the public.

Festival promoter Howard Alan Events produces numerous shows on Florida’s west coast including the popular Downtown Venice Art Classic each March as well as the Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts, St. Armands Circle Art Festival, Hyde Park Village Art Fair in Tampa and many more. The Downtown Venice Art Festival has become a welcome annual tradition in Venice, popular among locals and tourists.

The artists are juried by an independent panel of expert judges, and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. They will line West Venice Avenue with their displays and be present for the duration of the festival. All of the artwork is original and handmade in America.

An Art Giveaway will provide festival patrons an opportunity to win artwork by a participating artist. No purchase is necessary to participate.
