Two women who worked for a Sarasota spa face prostitution-related charges, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.

SARASOTA, FL — Two Sarasota spa employees were arrested earlier this month and face prostitution-related charges, according to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The investigation leading to their arrests began in early 2022 when the sheriff’s office received complaints that Gao and Xiong were providing sexual services to customers at New Moka Spa in exchange for money, the agency said.
