Public Invited To Speak Up On Safety Around Sarasota High School

Sarasota County Schools is hosting two public listening sessions to identify opportunities to improve pedestrian and bike paths.

SARASOTA, FL -- Sarasota County Schools is hosting two public listening sessions to identify opportunities to improve pedestrian and bike paths around Sarasota High School.

With the extended closure of School Avenue, the school district, along with the Sarasota City Commission, is looking for public input on ideal walking and biking conditions that meet the needs of the community. Both meetings will be held at Sarasota High School's cafeteria, 2155 Bahia Vista St.

  • Tuesday, June 19 from 6 – 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday June 26 from 6 – 8 p.m.
