Rash Of Car Burglaries Reported In Venice: Police

VENICE, FL — A rash of car burglaries in the Capri Isles and Edmundson neighborhoods are under investigation in Venice, authorities said.

Two of the burglaries happened Monday between 10 and 11 p.m. on Strada D Oro and Strada Dargento, the Venice Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

The vehicles burglarized were unlocked, police said. “Please secure your vehicles and valuables.”
