Realtor Nick Herron Achieves $9.075 Million in Transactions in One Week

Realtor Nick Herron of RE/MAX Alliance Group in Sarasota, Florida Sells Four Properties in One Week

SARASOTA, FLORIDA –Realtor Nick Herron of the Herron Group was involved in closing four real estate transactions totaling $9.075 million.

Herron brought the buyers in two residential transactions that closed Friday, February 20--the sale of a single-family home at 2272 Wason Road on the Phillippi River in Sarasota, which sold for $1.135 million; and a single-family home at 404 E. MacEwen Drive in The Oaks in Osprey, which sold for $690,000.

Earlier in the week, Herron was the listing and selling agent on a $5.05 million Casey Key home and $2.2 million Venice commercial property, bringing his total closed transactions to $9.075 million in one week.

Fred Wharton and Rosemary DePaolo, as Trustees of the Wharton-Depaolo Trust, were the buyers of the Phillippi River property, an extensively renovated 3,404-square-foot home on a nearly one acre wooded lot. The 4-bedroom, 3½-bath home includes a pool, spa, boat dock and Gulf access. The seller was Realtor Wil Prescott of Horizon Realty International.

Nancy Steadman was the buyer of The Oaks property, a 3,454-square-foot custom home with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, lake and golf course views, pool and spa. Betty Mullinnix and Steve Abbe of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services were the listing agents for the seller, Mark Aronow.

On February 19, Herron was the seller and buyer agent in the $5.05 million sale of a gulf-to-bay property at 2110 Casey Key Road on Casey Key. The sellers were Sol and Nancy Steadman. The buyers were Tom and Cindy Stuhley of Williams Bay, Wisconsin, and Casey Key.

On February 17, Herron’s commercial listing at 1550 S. Tamiami Trail in Venice closed for $2.2 million. The buyer, Midway Holdings Inc. (controlled by Eric Howell), plans to use the property as a public storage facility. The seller was investor Joe Collins of Casey Key, who bought the property from CRM Florida Properties LLC in 2010.
